This project iillustrates the predicament and wonder of “woman,” in portraiture. However, I have expanded this to a global study of women from the third world countries I have visited. It represents the evolution, the progression, the next step in my vision of a woman’s life. In this series, I manipulate the backgrounds in the images to illuminate the bare essence of the woman portrayed.
